"GRIT" AND "GRACE" AREN'T JUST WORDS.

THEY ARE LIFE CHOICES

It's not the challenges that you encounter in your life, but more so how you react to them.

Grit

helps us to be willing to leave our fears behind. It's like your sweat; it's made in the moment you show up and do the work.

Grace

is freely given unmerited favor, mercy and  moral strength. This helps us look past whatever differences we have and our mistakes now serve a purpose, instead of serving us shame.

I can't tell you how many times my world simply stopped spinning. I felt stuck and unsure many times on how to get back up and keep moving forwardThe only thing I've known to be a consistency in all struggles and hardships endured, was to be real and write with all my heart had to give.

Maybe this is my way of coping or maybe someone out there is actually listening. So, I write in hopes to help heal.

Love, Melissa
