About Putting up the Christmas Tree...

It’s always been a thing for me in the past to put up the Christmas tree and decorate for Christmas the first weekend in December.

Due to the convenience of some extra help and muscle over the weekend-I had an opportunity to get the Christmas tree out from the storage unit and took advantage of the help with assembling it.

I’m not/nor was I really ready to put decorations up because it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I’m not sorry I did. If you read my blogs, one of my first posts was about the holidays and how anxious I am for them. But I was also excited for new traditions. So this year Owen and I made a new one.

Last night my son and I had an indoor leaf fight and had fun saying something we we’re thankful for each time we out a leaf up on the tree.

Mommy’s List was much shorter... him.

I’m super thankful to be this little boy’s mom. He simply makes me be better my best. It’s been a very long and trying fall for the two of us but we have gotten through it together. I’m his rock and he’s every bit of my sunshine when my skies are gray 🌻
